The Last Great Day

Today is the Last Great Day, the last holy of the season. We observe this day as a picture of the coming period when God will bring ultimate justice to a world lacking this critical dimension of life.
It is a day when all is made right, the time of true justice. The dead small and great will stand before God and have the books opened for their understanding. Billions of humans who never understood the truth of God will have the chance to understand God's purpose for their life.
Look at what the Bible has to say about this coming period. "Then I saw a great white throne and Him who sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away. And there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened. And another book was opened, which is the Book of Life. And the dead were judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books. The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them. And they were judged, each one according to his works." (Revelation 20:11-13)
On the Last Great Day God will make right the greatest injustice to befall a human. He will give them opportunity for eternal life. Their first chance to live a life "on "and heading toward the family of God.
He will give life back to those who had it snuffed out in its prime or before it could ever get started. They will rise to life and know there is hope.
This is a key understanding that gives hope and purpose in a world world that sometimes seems bleak, random and meaningless.
